Our music

We play a very authentic form of klezmer music: Village Klezmer. In our repertoire we have fast dance tunes as well as sensitive melodies that were played as table music during Jewish weddings. Many of these klezmer melodies are over a hundred years old, originating in 'Fiddler-on-the-Roof' villages in Eastern Europa. Of course we also perform the klezmer classics that became well known when they were recorded by American orchestras, but we perform them with the sound of a village orchestra.
